4th Annual Golf Outing - HUGE Success!!!!

This years golf outing held at Bridsfoot Golf Course on July 23rd drew 76 golfers and total of 84 for dinner for socializing. The alumni club raised approximately $2200 after all expensive for the year have been paid. A $1,000 has been added to the William Rometo Sr. Scholarship fund for next year and the rest has been donated to the team for upcoming expenses this year. Some of the winner of the events were:
Closest to the pin Winners: John Bonarti, Angelo Tardio, Reid Baker, & Bryan Hartung
Long Drive: Wade Campbell
Most Honest Score: Jen Boczar, Alaina, Jessica McCartthy, & Holly Dupulli
Team Winner: Team Gaber – Class of ‘94
Skins Winners: Team Gaber & Team Savage
Big Chinese Auction Winner: Lou Klauss – TV Winner

Notable Golfers this year: Coack Lou Klauss, Coach John Ratesic, Coach Pat Ratesic, Coach Ed Soloman, Coach William Rometo, Coach Frank Sacco, Coach Marty Parente

Plum Sports Hall of Famers who attended: Joe Naunchik, Anthony Bonura, Bryan Hartung, Matt Morgan, John Schmeck

Best classes represented: 1974–76, 1992–94, 1996–98, 2000–2001

Christian M Suprano is the proud winner of William Rometo Sr. Scholarship funded by you the alumni members of Plum Football!!! Christian was a distinguished member of this year’s football squad and will be continuing his pursuits at Mount Union in the fall. The PFAC was very impressed with his essay and wish him nothing but the best for him in college and life!!!!

The PFAC Board woul like any alumi to attend our monthly meeting held every second friday of the month at 8 pm at the Italian Club in Renton.

This is a time to come and help the Club in planning and discussing what we can do to help the current and future Mustangs!!!! This is also a time for Alumni to gather and socialize!!! (Card playing, bocce, etc.)

PFAC would like to congratulate William Rometo Jr. on his induction into the PA Sports Hall of Fame East Boros’ Chapter. He is the first alumni from to be inducted in to this Hall of Fame. He is a member from the class of 1970.

PFAC - Help Making a Difference!!!!

The PFAC has started slowly to help make a difference. Some of the things the PFAC has done to help the football program are listed below:

1. Gave two $1,000 scholarships
2. Bought new J.V. Game shirts
3. Bought 4 squat machines
4. Bought additional weights for the weight room
5. Paid for two volunteer coaches
6. Paid for scouting service
7. Paid for additional football for summer workouts
8. Paid for summer passing league
9. Help pay for coaches’ spring college visitation

The PFAC is starting to help make a difference, but we need your help getting more of your teammates to join each year. This is a yearly membership club. The more former players we get to join, the more scholarships and aid we can give the team. With the likes of Penn Hills, Woodland Hills, Central Catholic, and others, we need to support “OUR” football program to help even the playing field.
